I used QR codes a lot this year as a way for students to publish their writing. I then placed their QR codes on a "readbox" board in the hallway. The students loved sharing their stories with friends and their parents.
I love this idea! What an easy way to display student work without there being papers everywhere! I hope to use this next year with my incoming class. Thanks for sharing!
QR codes are a great way for students to publish their writing. I also like to use QR codes in my attempt to have a flipped classroom. Students can archive the codes which link to videos I have created and access them for information as needed for a first time tutorial or for review. I also like to make QR codes for fun and informational videos I find on what we are learning and post them on the bulletin board in the classroom.
Here is an example of one on using commas correctly that I would certainly display for a student to use for a boost of information.

I've only made limited use of QR codes. I use them to link to google forms. I think this year I will put them on assignment sheets so that I can incorporate more media resources as text.
Another idea is using QR codes in a center so students can check their own work. For example, you can ask students to solve math problems (showing their work) and the QR codes can link to the answers.
